Christine's course provides an in depth introduction to astrology from a psychological and mythological perspective that will allow you to begin to understand and interpret a birth chart. The emphasis is on personal growth and discovery through gaining a deeper insight into your personal birth chart.
Classes are suitable for people wanting to know more about themselves and their friends and family, as well as those individuals who may be contemplating becoming a professional astrologer. Each lesson includes printed summary sheets and an opportunity to apply the knowledge to your personal birth chart. CD's of missed classes will be mailed to you that week so you never miss out!
All classes feature small group tuition in a friendly, supportive environment.
An optional second and third year are also available.
Christine covers the F.A.A. syllabus and her second and third years of study prepare students to sit the Federation of Australian Astrolgers examinations.
Second Year Classes are held on Thursday evenings
Third Year /Advanced Classes are held one Saturday afternoon a month.
Christine Rothwell [B.A., Dip. Ed],is a Professional Member of the Federation of Australian Astrologers [P.M.F.A.A.]and an F.A.A. Accredited Teacher of Astrology [A.A.T.] Christine has been working as a full time professional astrologer since 1990 and has been a regular speaker at Conferences hosted by the Federation of Australian Astrologers. Her special areas of interest are deepening awareness of the feminine points in the chart and exploring the intersection of spiritual and psychological themes in both her teaching and consulting work.

· The building blocks of the zodiac: the four elements and three qualities. [fire, earth, air and water and the cardinal, fixed and mutable qualities]
· The twelve signs of the zodiac: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces.
· The main planetary points: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus,
· The angles of the chart: Ascendant, Descendant, MC and IC.
· The hemispheres and quadrants
· The twelve houses.
· Aspects & aspect patterns
· The Nodes
· Reading an ephemeris
· Retrograde planets
· Unaspected planets
· The Astrological Alphabet
· Putting it altogether - reading a horoscope.
Please note: Chart calculation will be offered as a supplementary week-end workshop for those students wishing to pursue professional studies.
