November begins with all the outer planets retrograde except for Pluto - Neptune, Uranus, Chiron, Saturn & Jupiter – with Mercury joining them on November 26.

In this environment it is challenging to pick a winner in the US election, but the volatile energy suggests some anger, chaos and possible power struggles as Mars will oppose the USA’s Pluto 3 times over the next few months. There Pluto is 27 Capricorn and progressed Pluto at 29 Capricorn so the USA has been having a Pluto return and this will act as a trigger for tensions that have been brewing for the last year or two. Mars will also make three exact oppositions with transiting Pluto. This suggests a collective energy possible disputes and perhaps a delayed result with tension running high.

There is also the possibility of anger and power struggles for anyone with planets around late degrees of cardinal signs and early fixed signs but there is also the opportunity to work with the shadow and claim power in situations where we may have felt dis-empowered. This may be seen in world affairs, and probably the US election, with Mars opposing Pluto into the US Sibly chart.
