Astrology Classes for 2025

Christine offers beginners' through to advanced  astrology classes in Melbourne, Australia. The Beginners'  and Intermediate courses - first and second year of study -  are both 32 week courses available online .  After you have completed this course of study there is the opportunity to take your learning to another level through the Advanced classes. 

All Christine's courses provide an in-depth introduction to astrology from a psychological and mythological perspective. The emphasis is on personal growth and discovery. Classes are suitable for people wanting to know more about themselves and their friends and family, as well as those individuals who may be contemplating becoming a professional astrologer. Each lesson includes printed summary sheets and an opportunity to apply the knowledge to your personal birth chart. Access to the video files of missed classes will be available the day after the class in case you can't attend.  The pace is gentle, allowing time to discuss and integrate the material that is presented each week.

Christine covers the Federation of Australian Astrologers [F.A.A.] syllabus and has over 30 years of experience as  both an astrological consultant and teacher of astrology. She is a fully Accredited Astrology Teacher with the Federation [A.A.T., F.A.A.] and is currently serving as an examiner on the National Examination Board;  she came to astrology from a background as a secondary teacher [Bachelor of Arts and Diploma of Education]. Her second and third years of study prepare students to sit the F.A.A. examinations and work towards professional accreditation. Christine also offers special tuition groups designed to assist students preparing for these examinations.

First Year Syllabus
  • The building blocks of the zodiac: the four elements and three qualities. [fire, earth, air and water  and the cardinal, fixed and mutable qualities]
  • The twelve signs of the zodiac: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces.
  • The main planetary points: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.
  • The angles of the chart: Ascendant, Descendant, MC and IC.
  • The hemispheres and quadrants
  • The twelve houses.
  • Aspects & aspect patterns
  • The Nodes
  • Reading an Ephemeris
  • Retrograde planets
  • Un-aspected planets
  • The Astrological Alphabet
  • Putting it altogether - reading a horoscope.
Please note: Chart Calculation will be offered as a supplementary week-end workshop for those students wishing to pursue professional studies.
The course also includes: workbooks for each unit, a copy of your birth chart & family members & access to sound files for all classes.
